This month I am extremely proud to present my very own brand new Design Matters kitchen! As you can imagine, being a kitchen designer, it seems easy to work out what my clients need, but when it comes to making up my own mind - well - you are almost paralysed by the array of choices that you know are at your disposal.
It took me over a year to decide, I even had to enlist the help of a very good friend of mine who happens to be a top kitchen designer, working in North London for many years! The result is a brilliant place for me to whip up a storm in the kitchen (I am a very messy cook) with wonderful details like my bespoke larder with custom made oak spice racks inside, a fabulous Mercury induction range oven (which I am very much in love with) and a really social space for me and my family and friends.
I know that it was worth the wait and everyone who comes round can't help but marvel at the superb build quality, paint finish and soft close draws (although most people like the yellow oven, I don't think many of them would be quite so radical as to choose that colour for themselves - ha ha ha)
